Companion care provides non-medical assistance for individuals who need help with daily activities, transportation, meal prep, and social engagement. It’s designed to support well-being, independence, and quality of life.
No. Angelic Companions, Inc. offers non-medical companion care services, which do not require licensure in New York State. Our services focus on companionship, daily assistance, and caregiver support.
Self pay is the most common. In this case, the client and/or the family will pay us directly for services.
Long-Term Care Insurance is another option. Every policy is a little bit different, but we will be happy to assist you in checking on your coverage and we will file your claims so that you will be reimbursed.
All Angelic Companions, Inc. team members undergo comprehensive background checks as part of our thorough hiring process. Caregivers receive training in infection prevention and control, safety protocols, and general conduct. They complete a detailed orientation, which prepares them to compassionately and competently care for clients and their families.
Ongoing training continues through staff meetings, on-site instruction, and in-service education, covering essential topics such as aging-related care, fall prevention, and relationship building. Specialized training, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia care, is also provided to ensure each caregiver is well-prepared to meet the unique needs of every client.
We proudly serve clients throughout the Capital Region of Upstate New York, including Albany, Troy, Schenectady and beyond. We also have caregivers available in the Long Island area.
Our caregivers assist with transportation, errands, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and caregiver respite. We tailor care to each client’s needs.
While many of our clients are older adults, Angelic Companions, Inc. proudly serves individuals of all ages who need extra support at home. Whether it’s a new mother adjusting to life with a newborn, someone recovering from surgery, or an adult with physical limitations, our trained caregivers provide dependable, compassionate assistance tailored to each individual’s needs.
